I have been working for Moridge Mfg. Inc. for 42 years. In that time, I spent 6.5 years in the fabrication department until 1988 when I was promoted to Engineering where I helped design zero turn mowers using Pro/E-Creo. I am the systems administrator for Windchill and responsible for the IT work for the engineering department. My duties include taking care of the servers in engineering and making sure that they are serving out licenses properly and working efficiently. I am also responsible for setup of new PCs in the department. I keep the network running properly along with the printers and any other peripherals that are needed. Work orders for production in the plant, programing of the lasers, turret punches and making the DXF, IGES files for the bending robots are also under my responsibility. I still do a lot of design work for different projects, and keep the blueprints updated if changes are made to the current products.

Experience Education

Moridge Mfg. Inc – Grasshopper Company 1981-Present Fabrication Lead (1981 - 1987)

Set up machines and checked first part for accuracy for the machine operator. Programmer (1984 - Current)

Programming the Turret presses, lasers, and making the DXF and IGES files for the bending robots. I use MetalSoft/Amada AP100US software to do the programming and Bysoft7 for programming the Bystronic lasers.

Design Engineer (1995 – Current)

Designing Zero turn mowers, both front mount and mid mount from start to finish. Including all individual parts, weld assemblies and blueprints for production of the end product. Pro/E – Creo User and Administrator, Pro/E-Creo, Windchill Administrator, Engineering IT Supervisor (1995 – Present)

Setting up all PCs, software for end users, making sure the servers are working properly and serving out Creo licenses. Keeping the network operating including PCs, printers and any peripherals required for Engineering Department to work efficiently. 1975-1979
