As an Area Manager I am responsible for leading and motivating a route service team to safely deliver world class customer service and sales growth. Ensuring efficient route operations that best leverage all assets and resources available and lead the execution of performance and operational goals focused in the areas of safety, people, service, quality, cost and growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

I lead execution of delivery and service to ensure a high-quality customer experience through efficient route operations.

Execute and enforce accountability of safety standards.

People management and development demonstrating a disciplined approach to recruiting/onboarding, training, coaching and retention.

Ensure successful customer service delivery and recovery.

Serve as local point of contact for customer calls & follow- up, coordination with the call center and overall issue resolution.

Manage route structure, productivity and asset/resource utilization.

Assist to lead sales performance within an area of approximately $3-$6 million per year and oversee multiple locations.

Effectively cascades key messages on areas of focus and strategic priority for the business.

Oversee the warehouse to ensure execution of efficient operations (management of fleet assets for the location, compliance with Pre & Post Trip, inspections, utilization, PM schedule, repair/maintenance, breakdown pick-up, etc)

Conduct essential administrative duties, payroll, banking, equipment support, resource scheduling, and daily reporting

Review financial reporting/KPI’s to make informed decisions on cost controls, route productivity, product inventory controls, maintenance of assets, depot supplies, profitability, etc.

Implement and maintain compliance with all government and corporate programs and policies.

Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your team conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.

Operation Manager - Inbound and Outbound

March 2015 – January 2018

Company Name, Roadrunner Transportation, Humble Texas.

Inbound operations manager for the Houston area and City route manager. I manage all inbound freight shipped into Houston from our sister terminals nation wide and the route planning for the daily city drivers. In my two years with Roadrunner I have taken us from a 60 miles delivery radius to a 900 mile delivery radius. With the increase in custom growth

I was been able to increase our driver pool from 12 to 30 delivery drivers in this market alone.

Operation Manager/National Senior Ops Trainer/Fleet Manager

November 2006 – March 2015

Coinmach Corp, Houston Texas.

Lead manager over the Houston region, with responsibilities including but not limited to the over site of 2600 properties and 40,000 machines in the field. 6 department managers and all employees in this region reported directly to operations. National Ops Trainer for all 5 divisions and had the responsibility of training all new Ops managers for our 28 regions. Other responsibilities listed and on secondary attachment.

National Parts Director

September 2000 – October 2006

Conns Service/Stores, Houston Texas.

During my 6 year stay with Conns I received 9 promotions up to the Parts Director position. As the parts director I was responsible for a 12M to 14M dollar parts inventory divided between 5 service regions. Other duties listed below.

Inventory accuracy in each service center and all 76 service vans.

Contract agreements with Conn’s parts and service partners.

Warranty agreements on parts, labor, mileage, trips and shipping costs.

Parts back order lists with each service partner.

Exchange requirements due to parts issues within or out of warranty.

Customer service.

Responsible for all 76 service and delivery vehicles. DOT functions, repairs, gas usage, maintenance and service agreements with all of our signed vendors.

Responsible for 400+ employee’s company wide.

Duties include but were not limited to approval of all inside and outside sales agreements. Purchasing, product inventory, installation supplies, routing install crews. As the service manager I was responsible for Installation, customer service and all service call.
