03/01/2023- Fiber Optics Technician, Zinc Solutions Nyeri.

• Run Fiber optics cable from the base station to client’s homesteads, apartments and business offices.

• Splicing fiber optics distribution and drop cables using the splicing machine (splicer).Done at Dome fiber splice closure.

• Configure the XPON fiber-enabled routers with

PPOEs.

• Troubleshooting network in case of fiber failure such as fiber cut. 10/01/2022-09/01/2023 ICT Intern, Nyeri County Government Offices.

• Worked for 4 Months at Kenya Climate Smart Agriculture Project

(KCSAP) Offices Nyeri as a data analyst analyzing farmer's farm outputs figures from the PMIS (Project Management Information System).KCSAP is under the department of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. KCSAP is a World Bank funded project implemented in the Agriculture sector in 24 selected counties in Kenya.

• Later transferred to the Governor's Office department ICT directorate. Managed to setup a P2P line of sight network bridge. Used Ubiquiti Litebeam 5AC at Governor's Offices for wireless broadband bridging network to an Ubiquiti Litebeam M5 receiver at Fire Station Offices.

• Also managed to install IP CCTV Cameras and configure NVR for video recording on motion detection by the cameras in the Department of Lands, Housing, physical planning & Urban Development offices Nyeri.

• Installed Ubiquiti Nanostation M2 Access Point for internet coverage at Town Hall parking area.

• Help install and support of all ICT hardware and softwares eg IFMIS
