Wabush Mines (Scully Mines) – Wabush, NL, Canada January 1988 - June 2014

-As a maintenance worker, I have installed, maintained, used troubleshooting skills, and repaired stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in all aspects of the mine including, but not limited to the gyration crushers, auto-genesis mills, spirals, conveyors, dryers, pumps, load-out, and tailing systems.

-I have worked with the conveyor belt crew in the preparation, installation, and vulcanizing of all the conveyors on site. This included hot repair of steel corded belts, and both hot and cold repairs of fabric belts.

-I worked in the rubber shop performing such duties as sandblasting, and equipment preparation for re-rubberizing.

-I worked in the field as an industrial mechanic on the maintenance of drills and production loading shovels. This included all aspects of maintenance from daily maintenance checks to emergency repair and troubleshooting. I have gained valuable experience with hydraulic repairs on these units.

-Worked on the assembly of a new production loading shovel. 4th Class Engineer
