Qualifications on the C-130, aircraft commander, instructor and Stan. Eval.

Separated from active duty Air Force in June of 1980.

Flew for a commuter in a stretched Merlin for about 500 hours September 1980 -March 1981, while flying C-130’s in the Oklahoma Air National Guard (OKANG)

Did some accounting work Summer of 1981 until June of 1982. Obtained a full time pilot position in the OKANG. In June of 1984 I went to the FAA academy in Oklahoma City, OK to instruct and evaluate as an Aviation Safety Inspector in the B-727 simulator on campus.

Hired by Southwest airlines in June 1988 an worked there until retirement in September of 2013. While at SWA I flew the 737-200,300,500,700 and 800 and qualified in next generation aircraft with RNAV approach experience.
