Human Resource Management

● Responsible for managing hiring, screening/interviewing potential employees, new employee orientation, terminations, personnel policies, workers’ compensation, workplace health and safety, wage and hour requirements, employee benefits, ADA requirements, discrimination, insurance and compensation, employment laws and regulations, employee performance reviews, discipline procedures, investigating complaints and conflict resolution at Pace Analytical.

● Developed and implemented Human Resources policies, procedures and management systems for Lab Ops, a new rapid growth division in company with 300 offsite at 3M employees.

● Assumed responsibility for reorganization, repair and management of Human Resources for distressed division within same company, resulting in significant increase in retention.

● Start up Human Resources department for IBM Mid Hudson Valley Conference Center as part of Benchmark Hospitality Task Force including: o New hire orientation and paperwork, job descriptions, staffing guides. o Files and filing system, policies and procedures manual and processes. o Health insurance and employee benefits program, employment law guidelines. o Starting wage guidelines and performance appraisal tracking system.

● Acknowledged for excellence in the following areas as HR Generalist for engineering company with 240 employees and executive conference center with over 350 employees: o Orientations and new hire documentation.
