Simultaneously led two large complex squadrons of 300 joint U.S. and international military members from 16 nations. Organized, trained, and equipped both squadrons as part of NATO’s airborne surveillance mission involving a $4.6B Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) Operations fleet. Directed local and worldwide training and four simultaneous contingency operations to maintain NATO global dominance. Built a culture of dignity, respect, and professionalism by championing personnel recognition and development program improvements.

Staff Officer 07/2019–05/2020

NATO Airborne Early Warning and Control Force, U.S. Air Force, NATO Air Base Geilenkirchen, Germany

Developed operational plans, policies, and standards to ensure a responsive command and control capability for NATO commanders. Supervised flying operations, training, and operational testing for a $4.6B fleet of 14 AWACS. Programmed and budgeted 30 annual deployments and exercise participation. Oversaw plans and exercises divisions; developed and implemented annual flying and simulator schedule for five international NATO squadrons. Managed an $18M KC-135 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case and executed an $8.5M commercial airlift contract.

Assistant Director of Operations, Flight Commander, Air Liaison 05/2012–05/2015

81st Range Control Squadron, U.S. Air Force, Tyndall Air Force Base, FL

Led 49 personnel to provide a $185M weapons system evaluation program for 300+ annual air-to-air missile live-fires. Managed daily operations of a $12M Range Control System and data-link equipment. Developed C2 standards to safely integrate $900M in multiservice aircraft. Created and briefed after-action reports to commanders concerning deficiencies and best practices to integrate into future exercise planning and operational settings. Deployed as USAF representative to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Air Defense Liaison Team; advised RSAF on C2 operations, planning, and execution. Coordinated RSAF combat sorties, culminating in 65 successful attacks against ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

Commander, Executive Officer, Training Officer 04/2009–04/2012

610th Air Control Flight and 35th Operations Group, U.S. Air Force, Misawa Air Base, Japan

Commanded a rapidly deployable C2 unit supporting bilateral operations for northern and central Japan. Oversaw training, operations, and personnel development for 24 USAF members executing operations in support of the defense of Japan. Directed 234 personnel across eight mission offices, including plans and exercises, intelligence, airfield operations, aircrew flight equipment, and air traffic control.

Logistics Planner 01/1998–07/2004

U.S. Air Force, Tyndall Air Force Base, FL, and Incirlik Air Base, Turkey

Managed a $45M War Reserve Material (WRM) program. Trained WRM managers, interpreted and disseminated WRM policy, and conducted inspections and review boards. Led deployment and reception support for three Tyndall fighter squadrons, trained Unit Deployment Managers, and conducted inspections on unit mobility programs. Managed LOGMOD as Pilot Unit for F-15 Unit Type Code. Support Agreement Manager (SAM) managed 19 agreements that generated $2.3M in host wing reimbursements. First SAM to capture a 100% currency rate for all base Support Agreements. Discovered and recovered $149K in missing and incorrect reimbursements from tenant units. Member of European Command Logistics Sustainment Cell procured and shipped water and food items to U.S. military personnel in Iraq and shipped over 100M liters to the Kurdish population of Northern Iraq as a humanitarian mission.
