CARPENTER, FREDRICK JR.

PERSONAL STATEMENT

Currently, I work for the Camden County Tax Assessors’ office and provide advance support for other departments. This support includes developing web applications and deploying AGOL solutions and advanced analytics.

I got the county to invest in an ESRI Professional Team to stand up a new Enterprise System that is simple and robust with no SQL. I have developed Web Apps for another department that are auto-updated using hosted layers. And linked layers to google earth with the click of a button for use by the road department to see signage and other items.

My last employer was DoD at Ft. Stewart, Ga. As an Engineering Tech for the US Army at Ft. Stewart, GA. I performed database analysis, developed maps, converted CADD files into geodatabases, developed databases for GIS systems, conducted studies to identify problem areas, and developed plans to solve them.

My accomplishments at Ft. Stewart included developing the IGI&S Geodatabase, SDE Enterprise Geodatabase, versioning, portal, and raising the ISR 425 Spatial Structure score.

When hired as the IGI&S Manager, the ISR rating was black (17%), and the previous program manager told management that it would take approximately ten years to complete the assigned task and get the program score to an acceptable level. Within six months, the score had risen to amber (50%), and within 12 months, the score was in the green (70%).

Approximately 60 months into the program, the CIP was above 90%, the Army CIP scores were above 70%, and the Army Non-CIP scores were above 80%.
