Work Experience
Trainer / Package Handler / PRIME Employee
FedEx Ground - Las Vegas, NV
November 2022 to Present
Working for FedEx has been nothing under tremendous. Training new candidates into becoming the best version of themselves is great. To motivate people into believing themselves and the company, and to see the progression in all of us as a team and how it affects the company. It's inspiring and keeps me going. I believe it's imported to have motivated people in the world, and to make the world a better place. It impacts in a great way. I work very early mornings, start time ranging from 1:45A.M. to 4:15A.M. and ending at 10:00A.M. Having this job makes me very disciplined and even more determined than ever before. I carry packages over 200+lbs by myself. I lead my Van Lines to success, somedays with the influx being so high it's hard to manage but we power through for the success of the business. This job showed me even more how important team work is, to be Mission Motivated, to always push through the hard days to see the light in the upcoming days.

• Follows deeply our Mission.
• Encourage and Support our fellow employees.

Warehouse Worker/Customer Service
Sam's Club - Las Vegas, NV
February 2022 to October 2022
• Worked as a forklift driver
• Worked in a bulk warehouse
• Loaded/unloaded trucks and boxes
• Curbside Experience ( 4 Years )
• Merchandise and Sales Specialist
Working for Sam's Club has been an excellent job to face many challenges, difficult situations, and unfairness in the work place, however striving through the tough times. I work in the warehouse department, curbside department, and customer service department. This job hasn't been the easiest by all means, the labor aspect is fine. It's more mentally and unfairness. As of right now, I've one only closing shifts. I unload trucks all day in extreme temperatures. As hot as 145 degrees. I was Sam's Club forklift certified in the first month, and learned many departments while being there. They were empty handed, as well as I'm always willing to learn and to expand for greater opportunities. Many managers here are very selfless, and selfish. It's not the best work environment at all, but I like to face very difficult tasks to prove to myself and higher ups that nothing is too big nor small to handle. My customer service skills from Chick-Fil-A have helped me tremendously, it has gotten me many compliments as well. I've had proper training and I use them all the time when they're necessary. It's a tough job, I don't get many breaks, or breaks at all even. We're always pushed to our limits, sometimes we're pushed too hard even into sickness, but that doesn't stop the work ethic, the drive, and the power that I have. I only have one day off a week, due to the amount of orders and shipments we receive in a day, we unload thousands of pounds a day, and we repeat and repeat until we're unable to do so. Currently as of writing this, I have just became a COS (Lead) at this store, as well as leading the Merchandise and Sales department as a COS and Specialist. This job has had it's handful of ups and downs, but nothing is too difficult, too big nor small, I will always do to the best of my ability to have me and our great team be a valuable asset to any company. (Reason of Leave : Better Opportunity at FedEx as a trainer for a large Facility.)

CSR - Customer Service Representative/Trainer/Team Lead/Manager Chick-fil-A - Las Vegas, NV
February 2021 to February 2022
Being a Team Lead at one of the most pristine Fast Food Chains of all time was quite an amazing experience. My hours would fluctuate due to the position I was in, it consisted of overnight, opening, mid shifts, and closing. Any hours are okay with me. My tasks were to ensure all of our guests and Team Members were satisfied, appreciative, happy, content, charmed by how our operations were managed on a day to day basis. It was all about guest perception. We would do whatever it takes to make sure the guest was well taken care of, that we always acknowledged all of their concerns as soon as possible, and to ensure them that they were being taken care of in the best way possible. I was promoted to a Team lead in my first three months with Chick-Fil-A. I worked hard and strived everyday, it's all I know what to do besides expanding my education and knowledge in different work fields and scenarios. My duties were to make sure we had a game plan ready every day. That our store was in perfect condition every hour on the hour for our guests, to make sure we were ready for any surprise inspection or surprises from our operators. I would make the schedules every week for our Team Members, I would fix any mistakes, deal with call offs, sickness, time off, and change the schedule once school started up again. My customer service skills have only expanded from this job. Being provided with the best classes, and taught by the best mentors, we would come to have a 100% satisfaction rate in our store. Complaints were rare, I have gotten employee of the month a handful of times at this job due to the achievements we reached as not only a team, but as a family. I find it rather very important to work all together, to bring everyone up together along side with you. It is one thing to be a leader, and another to be a boss. We were the top Chick-Fil-A store in Las Vegas for awhile. Two months after being a Team Lead, I was brought up to be a manager. This of course came with its own tasks. More meetings, game plan behind the scenes, who was a right fit to be promoted, who we thought we had to let go off. Adding on a lot of conference calls, meetings with other stores, it was quite the job to handle for being only 18. But I always face challenges when given opportunities, and I'll always prove to myself and others that I can handle any job given to me, even if it's my first time learning. I just ask for a chance and I will work the hardest in the room and to show my talents and skills.

Marie Callender's - Las Vegas, NV
November 2018 to January 2021
This was my First job. This was my first Opportunity to work being the first generation in my family, it has shown me a lot in the first 4-5 years of work experience I've had. It has showed me how difficult the work field can be, but to always push yourself harder everyday, it's shown me to adapt to situations and to make other guests days better. It has taught me great communication skills, how to work long overs, overtime, and come in on days off to keep pushing. I showed the company itself what a great asset I could be, and they shown me more and better opportunities. All I ask if for a chance, and I will always make the best of my situations and strive for better for the company.

Foot Locker - Las Vegas, NV
December 2019 to November 2020
While working at Marie's, I also got a second Job at footlocker while being in High School. I got a second Job to help our family pay bills. Footlocker really highlighted and showed my skills on making connections with guests and to have them reoccur at our location. I was one of the top salesmen at 17 years old. It was a nice experience. They wanted to to move up to a shift lead at Foot Locker, but due to High School exceeding to a harder level by being an honor roll student, doing football, and working at Marie's full time, it became a burden to work a second job, and ultimately I unfortunately I had to resign. (Reason of Leave : School and Primary Job were too busy, maintaining a second job was a burden for not only myself but the company.)

Additional Information
Evidence of Excellence and greatest accomplishments :
• Becoming the First generation of my family to accomplish and surpass High School with honors. It wasn't the easiest of tasks for multiple of reasons. One being the language barrier. My family came from Mexico, and Spanish being my first and primary language it was quite the task, especially taking honor English and having to adapt and learn how the grammar system works in the English language. I overcame this by studying for countless hours, I took initiative and watched countless Youtube videos, countless hours spent online to adapt and American accent. Asking my teachers and other students around me for help. Some wouldn't help, and unfortunately some weren't fond of me being a first generation. But that didn't stop me, I kept pushing for myself and to show others and my family that nothing is impossible. I gave myself my own goals and my own mission, I did whatever was necessary to achieve my goals, and I did. It took me about 5 to 6 months to be completely fluent in English and to adapt a perfect accent. Also about 650 hours on Youtube and Google to study and 2,000 hours to perfect the accent. At the end of my High School career, it was a great Success and a peak in my motivation. It was worth the fight, and it showed me to follow your dreams and your own goals, you can achieve anything.
• Another achievement that I found was great and a success was dealing with Unfair Management at a previous Job of mine. A whole department of mine at the time were just being treated with disrespect, but not typical disagreements, I mean more racist remarks, not giving us any required breaks, overworking us and threatening termination if we were to leave at our scheduled hours. It was truly unfair, and none of us wanted to risk termination. At the end of the day, what I believe is to have a successful company, you need motivated, mission driven, and dedicated employees. However, that doesn't happen when you treat them with such disrespect, unnecessary remarks, and threats of termination. I took initiative and went to talk to other managers and they directed me to HR. I never wanted to take it to HR, I would've liked to talk it out and handle it with them directly, and I did try that multiple times, but after months of that treatment it was too much and I had to resolve it for me, my team, and for the company. To the management that were being unfair and treating us wrong, I tried to talk to them on five different occasions and nothing was solved, I always got the same responses from them, either that they didn't care, or they talked back in foul language. So about two months later, enough was enough and I went to different departments and they advised that I go to HR.
• Being able to move up and climb the ladder in almost every Job I've worked at in short amounts of time have also been truly great to me. It always shows and proves that hard work and determination pays off. My biggest motivation to succeed and to strive were 100% my family. Them not being able to work the best of jobs, nor them not having the highest of education levels, it's been quite a struggle on them to communicate and to pay bills and with the economy rising and everything becoming a little bit pricer, it motivates me to help them. It was quite difficult to live in such a small space with 7 family members, about 965sqft. But I was always grateful and wanted to strive for them. Any company that gave me an opportunity, I worked hard, I believe in their company mission, I lived and breathed it. I would do the most for them and in return it would help me. Chick - Fil - A really gave me the chance to help my family get an appropriate living space for my siblings, it got me the car I have today, and that Job has given me the opportunities to work for the company I'm currently at. No matter what living situation I may be in, my hard work, my work ethic, my dedication, my strive for any company mission is the greatest.
