I have worked in the Health Care field for over 35 years in a vast number of positions with many different types of skills. Operate and assisted in training for a 40 bed memory care.
I was in charge of direct operations from Sales, to budgeting along with hiring and training all staff. When I arrived in this community we were very challenged with staff turnover, very low census at 63% occupied and the community was running over 25% a month over budget.
In the year I was there I was able to fill all the key directors' positions along with retaining our care staff with strong, skillful individuals. At the beginning of July 2018 our community was 100% occupied with a waiting list of 10 along with running 5,000.00 dollars a month under budget a monthly revenue gain of over 100,000 dollars. This was the largest increase in any building in the Five Star Senior living company.
