Projects
● Drafted a 3D model of the fuselage, tail wings and mid-wings of an E-2D Advanced Hawkeye carrier-based aircraft. Participated in the assembly of the aircraft in Solidworks within a team. (Project Duration: 1 Month)
● Designed a bracket for a delivery drone and performed finite element analysis in Solidworks to ensure that requirements were met. (Project Duration: 2 weeks)
● Reduced the assembly time by 30% of a Voltage Input Fuse Block for Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories. (Project Duration: 3 Months)
● Designed a gearbox for an onshore wind turbine to convert high-torque and low-rotational speed to low-torque and high- rotational speed to the shaft connected to the generator to produce electricity. (Project Duration: 1 Month)
● Worked with Facebook (Meta) on the development of AR glasses for the capstone project. The project focused on selecting the appropriate PSA through research,
performance testing and designing a fixture to conduct the impact test. (Project Duration: 4 Months)
● Designed a pipeline to transport hot water from a steam plant to 3 different buildings at WSU. The main objective of the design was to minimize the annual cost of the pipeline and maximizing the efficiency of the pumps. (Project Duration: 2 weeks)
● Designed a double pipe, counter flow heat exchanger for water and Benzene. The main objective of the design is minimizing its annual cost and maximizing its efficiency, taking into account fouling and exergy. (Project Duration: 3 weeks)
