I learned to multi task very well in this position. Learning to deescalate a situation was key to working a smooth shift. Interacting with deferent personalities was a definite skill well learned at this job.

Helping Adults with mental disabilities is a rewarding job. I had the privilege of seeing clients make and meet goals is a wonderful site to see.

To fill in the work gap I worked independently sitting with elderly whom had dementia and was a babysitter. From the years of 2006 to 2009 I worked in a mental health facility. After having my child in 2009 I left that job having no longer feeling safe. Then after having my daughter I had babysit children until she became school age.
