Overview: Due to the impact of 9/11, after 20+ years of service with US Airways*, I accepted a severance layoff from Manager of Pilot Flight Operations - BWI, when the crew base was closed. I have since raised two girls while volunteering in my community and on school PTO committees. I served on the board of Fine Art Services for 16 years, putting on Birmingham’s Magic City Art Connection each April and Moss Rock Festival each November. As my girls became more independent, I worked part-time over the past 8 years in event planning, volunteer recruitment, retail sales and management and in private aviation. I now seek a rewarding position that I can use my past airline aviation skills to their potential as I move to CO to reside near family.
