I have grown a lot since taking on the office manager position 3 years ago. I manage two locations. We have 3 providers and 4 NPs with 30 employees. I manage the day-to-day activity of a medical office. I work closely with my 3 providers. While in this role I have learned how to process invoices from outside vendors, worked contracts, bank deposits, work with upper management when requested, created spreadsheets, check in and check out patients. Communicate with patients, vendors, employees and providers.

I worked the front desk on the testing side of cardiology, verified insurance, entered patient information, phone call reminders, co pays, and organized for testing technicians coming in. I then moved to being the precertification coordinator were I called insurance company’s or went on their website and performed authorization requirements.

I entered patient information into the computer, answered phone calls, greeted guest, verified insurance. Took care of patients in their homes or the nursing homes.

I worked one on one with the CNA’S by coordinating their schedules and visits.
