• Constructed a deep learning model from scratch using Convolution Neural Network (CNN) & Bi-Lateral Long Short- Term Memory (BLSTM) layers and Connectionist Temporal Classification (CTC) loss.

• The model generated datasets in local Indian languages like Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi (Indic languages); since most datasets are in English, the datasets generated will help improve NLP algorithms in the Indic language space.

• Developed an OCR Language Transliteration model to detect handwritten scripts and images in English and provide the text in Indic languages improving accessibility of knowledge to all. Plant Disease and Detection using Convolution Neural Networks, –BMSCE, Bangalore, India 03/2021 – 06/2021

• A collaboration between Nokia and BMS College of Engineering where five out of 200 students were selected to work on this project.

• Applied transfer learning using pre-trained AlexNet to identify diseased plants using pre-processing techniques like the normalization of images and benchmarked the model using a validation set.
