Resume:

●Michelle McMurray

**** *. ************., ********, ** 61032 – adutno@r.postjobfree.com – 847-***-****

My love of Human Resources has taken me in many directions over the years and I have embraced the changes that have come along with it. As a manager I was tasked with having employees and management trust me in many different scenarios. Over the last several years I have had to manage my own transition to being disabled.

●As you will see from my resume I last worked in 2020. I don't mind sharing this with you, because I am ready to work again in a part-time capacity. My disabilities are limited to immunity issues, not being able to drive, lifting and standing restrictions. In no way does my disability impact my motivation, work ethic, communication or knowledge of technology.

Volunteering

Leukemia Research Foundation - For the past four years my family and myself have given time to the Leukemia Research Foundation, either through our own team efforts to raise awareness and funds to find cures for cancer. We also volunteer each year for the Jim Gibbons 3k and 5k in Grant Park, setting up tents, booths, registration, snacks and water stations.

PADS - I loved having the opportunity to help others feel wanted and appreciated. There is no worse feeling then having nowhere to call home or simply take refuge. Being there to greet and comfort those in need means so much. On my weekends to stay overnight at the shelter I would greet the people with a warm meal, activities and a place to sleep for the night. In the morning we would provide a nice breakfast and packed lunch for their day. The most rewarding thing about this was how thankful the people were to have someone talk with them and have an understanding of what they were going through. I still do my best to give to PADs; it is such a great cause.

Be-The-Match - I participate in annual 5K Run/Walk as well as volunteer my time with Team Rush to help raise money for a great cause. Helping people understand the importance of stem cell donation.
