Over the last 20 years I have sought to improve my management and leadership skills through education and active involvement in construction and public work projects requiring comprehensive planning and development.

Through conscientious effort and a dedicated work ethic I have assisted many projects and programs through crucial organizational and infrastructural transitions. I have a principled and earnest appreciation for philanthropy and the good that it serves in our local communities. Though I am a very able and resourceful person, I also understand and appreciate the importance of cooperation and teamwork, which I believe are essential for a positive and productive work environment. I work well with others, and even under the most stressful situations I strive to keep communications flowing between others and myself.

WORK HISTORY

May 2022-October 2022 Construction Superintendent- Devlin/McNally Construction- In this position I provided oversight and direction for High-end residential home construction. My duties included sub-contractor coordination and communication, material logistics, staging, scheduling, report writing, worksite safety, report writing, inspection coordination and permitting, budgeting.

•Dec. 2020-April 2021 Director of Maintenance and Operations- Mendocino County Office of Education

In this role I provided oversight of County Schools building maintenance and construction, negotiation and coordination of subcontractors and associated contracts, budget management for the Division, Safety and Risk Management, employee evaluation and training.

•April 2019- Dec. 2020 Construction Project Manager/Site Superintendent- Builder Solution Inc.

In this role I was Site Superintendent and Project Manager for Public Works, larger Commercial and Hotel projects, as well as Multifamily Residential construction. The duties associated with this role included bidelectrical system integration with foundations and framing, climate control systems, waste water lift station construction, RFI follow-up, daily reports, safety management, quality control inspections, and employee training and evaluations.

•March 2018- April 2019- Project Manager/Site Superintendent- Blankenship Consulting LLC.

In this role I worked as both Construction Superintendent and Project Manager in the construction of the Coyote Valley Casino in Redwood Valley, CA, where I provided construction oversight and materials staging, subcontractor coordination, site safety and logistics, quality control inspection, and employee training and evaluation.

•2008-2009 Construction Technology Instructor

Starting in 2008 I taught Construction Technology at Willits High School, providing students with an introduction to basic building skills and design concepts including project and budget management.

•2003 thru 2018 Construction Foreman, Lead Carpenter and Consultant- Water and Earth Consulting

In this role I have acted as an independent consultant and project manager for Off-grid residential home construction utilizing alternative building materials and techniques, water management and alternative energy systems.

EDUCATION

Master's Degree Coursework in Public Administration_with emphasis in Public Management and Nonprofit Resource Development Sonoma State University, Rohnert Park (ongoing).

Bachelors of Arts Degree in History_(Graduate Cum Laude) - California State University, Chico.
