Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers and other components. Test electrical systems for continuity of circuit and electrical wiring equipment or fixtures.

Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring and equipment or fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.

Repair or replace wiring equipment or fixtures using hand tools or power tools. Direct or train workers to install, maintain or repair electrical equipment or fixtures.

Measure cut or bend wires and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.

Trace out short circuits in wiring using test meter. Work from ladders, scaffolds or roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring equipment or fixtures.

Place conduit, pipes or tubing inside designated partitions, walls or other concealed areas and pull insulated wires or cable through the conduit to complete circuit between boxes.

Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings using hand or power tools. Thread conduit, connect couplings, and fabricate and secure conduit support brackets using hand tools.
