Work Experience

Executive Director – Grand LifeStyles

Administer day to day operations of a 133 bed Supportive Living Community.

Calculate, create and implement the annual operating budget.

Payroll, accounts payable/receivable

Human Resources – hire staff, staff performance evaluations, reprimand staff, etc

Accountable for sustaining all systems necessary to stay compliant with all policies governing the community, including IDPH, HFS, Human Resources and any additional required functions.

Lead management and team members during annual state survey process, complaint surveys and county health inspections.

Create and submit Plan of Correction, execute plan of correction maintaining quality of assurance on compliance.

Conduct annual Resident Satisfaction Survey. Review, analyze, compute and address survey concerns.

Create and supervise all internal and external marketing

Census development

Project Management

Provide supervision for admitting new residents, maintain current residents that meet the financial and medical requirements for supportive living regulations and provide referrals to more appropriate facility.

Establish and retain staffing regulations, dietary management, housekeeping, nursing care oversight, resident activity department.

Collection and accounts receivable for rent, including provide guidance to accounting staff to ensure correct documentation for Medicaid Application process.

Perform pre-admission assessments, meet with potential residents and families.

Effectively manage 60 staff including recruiting, hiring, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, monitoring work load, conflict resolution, delegate responsibilities and terminations.

Interim Executive Director – Ridgeline Management

Administer day to day operations of 144 unit/85 unit Residential Care Community and Community Based Residential Facility.

Proficiently work with government agencies to adhere to regulations.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to facilitate better resident care, admissions, discharges, nursing practices and resident satisfaction.

Effectively manage 65 staff including hiring, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, monitoring workload and termination.

Executive Director – Willow Pointe

Administer day to day operations of 48 Residential Care Apartment Complex and 20 bed Memory Care, Community Based Residential Facility.

Create strong relationships with area Senior Centers, Adult and Aging Resource Centers, Long Term Care/Skilled Care facilities, Discharge Planners, Social Workers, Nurses and Doctors.

Create and implement annual budget including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, business development and advertising.

Effectively manager 40 staff including hiring, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, delegating work responsibilities, conflict resolution, staff retention and terminations.

Provided residents ongoing case management to support a quality independent lifestyle, resulting in a safe and clean environment.

Attend care plan meetings with residents and families.

Conduct staff training, mock survey’s and educate staff to stay compliant with all policies governing the community, including local and state agencies.
