• Performs AM/PM care according to unit protocol.

• Assists short-stay patients in activities such as ambulating, toileting, feeding, dressing, and bathing. Observes short stay’s condition and behavior and determine how to best help.

• Gather information regarding patient’s needs and problems for planning care

• Makes rounds on assigned patients every 2 hours for identifying patient’s needs such as turning, positioning, and checking for contingency.
