• Making determination of eligibility (adjudication based on information gathered) for services;assisting veterans with disabilities to secure employment, maintain employment and to provide employment counseling services, such as job preparation’s skills training and job coaching.
• Conducting in depth psychosocial assessments for all clients on my caseload; assessing clients' abilities, needs, and eligibility for services and to develop individualized vocational rehabilitation treatment plans.
• Completing of reports for Compensated Work Therapy Transitional Work Program participants, such as initial; quarterly and discharge NEPEC reports for all participants and any follow up request from Decision Support Services (DSS) or NEPEC Program staff.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with community referral sources, such as community groups and local small business employers by conducting for agency, staff training sessions and presentations regarding topics such as, tax credits for employers hiring individuals with disabilities and veterans and the accommodation process, and Social Security Administration’s Work Incentive programs such as Ticket to Work and PASS Programs.
I am very familiar with usage of appropriate ICD coding as it was essential to reconciliation of patients' medications and Active and Inactive Problems' listing and as use of justifying agency coding to ensure completion of all patients encounters for fee-based employees and for Service Line to receive appropriate workload credit.
