I Serve as the Information System Security Officer for Cyber Security Division, NEC Ansbach, 52d Signal Battalion and top Organization Unit (OU) Systems Administrator, approving and managing all users requesting new accounts, service accounts or shared access IAW AR25-1, AR25-2 and DoD 5200.1. I am the top manager in ATCTS (Army Training and Tracking Certification System) managing all training for each user to include proper training for those with elevated accounts. I am responsible for the TSP (Tennant Security Plan) for the entire Ansbach AOR. I scan all systems on a weekly basis to ensure near 100% compliant with IAVA’s. I Develop, publish and manage Information Assurance plans for the NEC Ansbach AOR and its tenant installations/commands. I Ensure compliance with Federal, DOD, DA and USAREUR/NETCOM Information Assurance policies. Have extensive knowledge of all areas of automation security to establish operating standards and procedures for the NEC Ansbach Information Assurance Program. As the Command Information Assurance Manager (IAM) I plan, develop,execute, implement and maintain requirements for the command NIPRNet and SIPRNet. Implement and manage all aspects of the communications security (COMSEC) program for the command in accordance with AR 380-40, TB 380-41. Coordinate NIPR and SIPR Certification and accreditation activities with the Designated Approving Authority (DAA) and the Certification Authority (CA). Ensure that distribution mechanisms are in place so that Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) are received and responded to by System Administrators (SAs), Webmasters and others as appropriate. Monitor the progress of NEC Ansbach AOR Systems Administrators and Information Assurance Support Officers on Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts compliance for their systems. I act as ETA (Enhanced Trusted Agent) and TA (Trusted Agent) for DEERS I am the TA for NIPR and SIPR CAC for Administrators and users requiring SIPR Access for the entire AOR.
Review the status of all information systems and/or network as to ascertain that changes have not occurred which affect security or negates accreditation. Review threat and vulnerability assessments to analyze the risk to the Information Systems and networks and determine appropriate measures to effectively manage those risks. Oversee the Installation Communications Security (COMSEC) program. Ensure Compliance of COMSEC, SIGSEC, TEMPEST, DIACAP, and Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI) programs at all levels throughout the NEC Ansbach AOR. Oversee the implementation of the Department of the Army Network Information Security Program. Validate and update the Information Assurance Defense in Depth program to include firewalls, intrusion detection system and other hardware and software solutions required in the program to protect installation information.

I Serve as the Information Systems Security Officer in an Army Reserve Regional Support Command (RSC) and top Organization Unit (OU) Systems Administrator, managing users requesting new accounts, service accounts or shared access IAW AR25-1, AR25-2 and DoD 5200.1. I am senior Share Point Administrator, managing all levels of access. Develop, publish and manage Information Assurance plans for the RSC and its subordinate installations/commands. Ensure compliance with Federal, DOD and DA Information Assurance policies. Have extensive knowledge of all areas of automation security to establish operating standards and procedures for the RSC Information Assurance Program. I act as TASM and TA (Trusted Agent) for DEERS and the Contractor Verification System (CVS) as well as TASM and TA for the CAC Reset Workstation (CPR) to aid soldiers, civilians and contractors in resetting their CAC PIN. I am the TA for NIPR and SIPR CAC for Administrators and users requiring SIPR Access for the entire 13 State Region.
I am the sole purchasing agent for the established Government Purchase Card (GPC) using diligence and better business practices in purchasing not only small AV or telecommunications equipment but also act as technical expert for life cycle replacement purchases for the entire RSC and supported down trace commands. I am certified as a COR (Contracting Officer Representative) to act as a representative for the Contracting Officer IAW the FAR. For larger contracts exceeding $150,000.00 per year.
