PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

I strive to do my job in an above and beyond fashion. My work ethics and doing any assigned task the RIGHT way are extremely important to me. I take my job seriously and would love to work along side others that have the same goal, giving clients the best experience possible. Regardless if my clients are customers or patients, they will receive my respect, attention and care to the best of my abilities. While I take my job seriously and I know every job comes with some stress, I like to have fun too. EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Admin. Assistant, South Henry Dialysis

In my position, I am the first contact for our patients, family members/care givers and vendors. My main responsibilities are answering a multi-line phone system in a professional manner, assiting the caller, or, transferring calls to the proper department, upkeep and maintaining all medical records, in accordance with company, HIPAA and State guidelines. I am responsible for placing, receiving and stocking all office supplies as well as certain medications, medical supplies and parts. I also assist our clinical and biomedical staff, within what's allowed, according to laws and company policies. Scheduling appointments, transportation, verification of insurance are also my responsibilities, as well as monitoring/disinfecting the water system to ensure the safety of our patients. Other duties include scheduling, preparing and shipping labwork, monitoring lab values and reporting any alerts to the Nurses and Physicians. This position is a part-time position that I thoroughly enjoy. My reason for seeking employment elsewhere is because I need a full-time job. Sep. 2016 - Present

items they needed, whether in-store, another store, or online. On days we received deliveries, I would help with the unload process, which included unpacking, separating stock, by department, and stocking merchandise on the sales floor or stockroom. Efficiently and professionally checking out customers and assisting them in completing their shopping experience, as a cashier, was another duty of mine. In addition, I often helped the loss prevention team with deterring theft, to the best of my ability, as well as "watching" suspicious customers, only at the request of and under the supervision of that team. While doing my best to make sure every customer had a pleasant shopping experience, I believe my strongest point was order fulfillment. This included monitoring the incoming order system, shopping, packing and preparing orders for shipment or in-store pick- up. Employee of the month was awarded to me in my first month at Kohl's, during the busy Christmas shopping time. I received this recognition a second time prior to my leaving the company. My reasoning for leaving Kohl's was I needed a job with more regular hours and an increase in my salary.

Admin. Assistant, DaVita Dialysis

After leaving this company for five years, as will be explained below, I was asked by the Manager if I would be interested in returning. Upon accepting the offer as an Administrative Assistant, my duties included answering a multi-line phone system, assisting if I was able, otherwise, I would direct the call to the proper person/department. I was responsible for every aspect of handling patient's medical records, in accordance with company, state and HIPAA guidelines, ordering and inventory of all supplies for the facility, greeting and checking in patients. Other duties included coordinating patient care with the Nurses and Physicians, attending and participating in quality control meetings, patient care conferences, working side by side with the clinical staff, physicians, patients and their family members to insure quality care. I was often called upon to assist with patient care in cases of emergencies and/or staffing shortages. I was responsible for verification of insurance, registration and discharge of all patients, scheduling appointments and transportation as needed for patients. In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, and my past training, I was able, and always willing, to step up and help my team and patients with duties outside of my job description.

life possible. This included providing quality care, education on diet, medications, and compliance. My reasoning for leaving this job, after just one year, was the loss of my daughter and having to more children shortly afterwards.
