Ellsworth Air Force Base, SD, June 2010- June 2012 Superintendent, Military Personnel (SME/BPO)

• Provided customer support to over 14,000 active duty, dependents, civilians, and retirees. Supervised and led a staff of over 50 military/civilian personnel in 4 diverse sections: responsible for health & welfare, discipline, QA standards, training, career counseling, recognition, and professional development

• Directed over 40 major personnel programs affecting over 3,500 personnel

• Personnel advisor to over 50 departmental executives; informs key personnel on program policy changes and primary trainer for personnel systems

• Coordinated work schedules, performed initial and recurring training, organized workflow, and processes, and served as office manager

• Quality Assurance Evaluator for a $700,000 Air Combat Command personnel contract inspecting 56 personnel programs for 8 contractors to ensure contract compliance

• Manages performance reporting for an organization of 3,500 personnel. Ensured routing, processing, and updating of 7,000 performance reports. Recognized as number one in Air Combat Command for timeliness & accuracy during the fiscal year 2011

• Managed a team of 30 personnel performing centralized casualty reporting in 8 separate geographic locations while serving in Kuwait. • Supervised & led a staff of 20 military & civilian personnel launching the Air Force’s first contact center

• Provided guidance on HR programs/policies to 82 military personnel offices while supporting 350,000 personnel worldwide

• Directed development/organizational structure in standup of new contact service center sections, primary advisor on major personnel programs in personnel services delivery transformation

• Air Force lead to interpret/execute House Resolution 5740 (Post 9/11 G.I. Bill), now known as U.S.C. Title 38, Chapter 33. Set the Benchmark for the Department of Defense; notification for approval adopted by the Department of Veterans Affairs

• Briefed the Post 9/11 G.I. Bill – Transfer of Education Benefits at the HR Worldwide Conference. conducted online webinars/provided an interview with Air Force News Agency.

• Architect behind Transfer of Education Benefit online self-service application. Developed business rules and process flow. Championed the first-ever digital document for a virtual self-service personnel program

• Authored re-write/staffed Air Force policy on Service Commitments. Applied 28 critical revisions and 12 new policy changes clarified Service commitments worldwide

• Worked with strategic partner, Northrup Grumman on the Air Force’s future personnel/pay system

(Defense Integrated Military HR System). Developed business rules, workflow, and policies for the service commitment module

• Appointed as the first HR Master Trainer by HQ Air Force Personnel Center / Air Force Contact Center

• Worked in cooperation with Air Force strategic partner, Booze Allen Hamilton to facilitate the process reengineering two major personnel programs and key advisor on others

• Discovered deficiencies in policy vs. process; saved $36.5 million annually in training costs

• Supervised personnel ranging from 2 to 5 employees, supported 100 to 500 personnel

• Maintained operations for 5 separate organizations during a critical manning shortage: allocated time Schedule with department leads to ensure personnel program compliance, production, and workflow.
