Marketing Advisor (August 2021 – March 2021)

Handled 4 Hours of minimum talk time with cold call sales. Expected to make minimum 7-10 applications per day and have 4 approved sales per week. During my tenure, this job has been 100% Remote with zero office visits. All sales calls were to follow a script and maintain company metrics for retention.

High Dog LLC dba Dogtopia, Lafayette, CO

General Manager (May 2019 – May 2020)

General Manager of all 3 branches of the business. Grooming, General Daycare and Short/Long-term Boarding. Duties also included running all of the general maintenance for the facility. I was also the locations pet-parent relationship manager, handling sales and follow-up with new clients. Maintain contact with previous clients to keep us as their go to for any of the three services we offered. In charge of all Digital Marketing that the owners chose to utilize. Responsible for keeping the facility up to PACFA (Pet Animal Care Facilities Act) regulatory standards. Managed approximately 30-50 employees and 2 groomers. Handled an average daily count of 90-120 dogs with a peak of 200 during Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Selected Contributions:

Took over control of the facility in June with zero training from previous GM and successfully maintained the current clientele and increased daycare attendance by 34% Year over Year.

Re-staffed entire facility while implementing a new wave of policies to make the environment safer for both employees and the canines at the facility. Many changes had to be made to make the facility PACFA compliant.

Established a Digital Marketing expectation for both Google Advertising and Social Media posting for both potential leads as well as a presence within the local Community.

Facilitated Operating System switchover from Gingr to PetExec. Handled all aspects of a payroll company changeover from ADP to PayChex for both payroll and time management systems. Set up new worker’s compensation insurance plan for the facility.

Maintained facility and customer relationships prior/during forced closure. Was offered to resign during Corona Outbreak or take a hourly position with a significant pay decrease.
