Work History

Lobby/Drive thru worker - 05/2013 to 11/2013

Taco Bell - Pasadena, MD

My job as a cashier was to clean the lobby and make sure that all customers were waited on or served. This was my first job but it helped me learn how to multitask and engage with customers. Often I would be required to do both drive-thru and lobby duties making sure that the customers were satisfied in an organized and timely fashion.

Deli/Seafood/Dairy Clerk - 11/2013 to 02/2015

Mars Supermarket - Pasadena, MD

During my time with Mars Supermarket I was trained in three different departments although I was mainly a deli clerk. I was usually on the closing shift so my job was to make sure all customers left our deli satisfied while also making sure the department and cold cases were cleaned thoroughly. I was usually on the later closing shifts so it was my job to make sure everyone else I was working with for the night finished their jobs properly as well. My manager often had me train newly hired employees and I learned all duties for my department such as making orders, counting inventory, maintaining the hot foods bar, watching temperatures on cold and hot foods, cooking shrimp for customers, being able to engage and be informative if a customer has a question.

Salad Maker/Deli Clerk/Hotfoods Clerk - 02/2015 to 10/2017

Lauer’s Supermarket and Bakery - Pasadena, MD

I was originally hired as the Salad Maker but once they saw my other skills from previous jobs I started to work in the Deli when needed and in Hotfoods on the weekends. My job as the salad maker was to maintain and create all delicatessen salads by scratch. At the end of the day I would have made roughly about 200lbs of coleslaw, 100lbs of potato salad, 80 lbs of macaroni, and other Lauers original salads. I was also the only one in my department so I had to triple my product for holidays and busier times of the year. I had to write down my orders and manage my inventory to make sure I had enough ingredients.

I became the Hotfoods second, I had to follow all food safety protocols and cook/prepare different types of food in bulk as well so it could be frozen and stored for later use. We also fried and baked all of our chicken from scratch so I had to make sure all food I made was up to temperature and fully cooked. Working in Hotfoods I would have to engage with customers and serve them our fresh foods. This department would often be busier during lunch and dinner.

Chef - 04/2015 to 09/2015

Jimmy-T’s, Pasaden, MD

For a short period of time I was a chef for Jimmy-T's as a second job. It was my job to cook and prepare all meals ordered by customers. I usually worked the lunch rush. Our food was made from scratch and fresh. I had to make sure my work environment was clean and safe for customers and employees alike.

Seafood Clerk/Manager Trainee - 10/2017 to 08/2018

Giantfood - Glen Burnie, MD

I am the seafood second so it is my job to make decisions when my manager is not present. I am currently in training to be a seafood manager and I understand and can do all tasks that the position would require me to do. I work both mornings and nights. My morning shifts require me to do seafood orders, to go through our stock and scan out or markdown whatever is out of date or close to date. When I work mornings I make sure all product smells and feels fresh and that the dates are all in check so they the department is prepared and ready for the night staff. My job as a manager trainee/clerk is to make sure all customers of my department leave fully satisfied with my service to ensure they will come back and always choose Giant Food's Seafood.

Seafood/Meat Manager - 08/2018 to current

Giantfood - Anne Arundel County (district worker, I travel), MD

Once I was promoted to seafood/meat management I was tasked with the duty of taking care of all orders, food quality checks, pushing product, and billing and paper work for each store that I was stationed in. The hard work that I had shown to district managers and corporate leaders had shown them that I could become a district trainer for the company. Within this time I had traveled all over the district that I had worked for between Glenn Burnie to Bowie to as far as Rehobeth Beach. Helping each store with orders, inventory, and training new employees. I have trained multiple other managers and typically done very well on my inventories and corporate visits.
