Administrative Support. Utilized telephone, e-mail, personal meetings, and coordinating travel plans for myself and others. Software usage to include Word, Excel, and Power Point plus a few Company created systems for collecting and communicating information. Training Sales and Marketing Teams: Traveled to various locations in the United States, Mexico, South America, Europe, Singapore and China to train teams on new systems and forecasting protocol. Created and maintained training materials for systems and forecasting processes. Product Line Management. Improved accuracy of demand forecasts by 20% by creating top-down demand model using SAP-APO software to replace existing bottoms-up model by teams. Forecast accounted for approximately 5,000 customer/part distribution customer combinations representing $530 MM per year in revenue.

Cost Reduction/Avoidance. Managed a cost-reduction initiative for the semiconductor division’s

$1.5-billion transportation group to streamline manufacturing costs. Implementation focused on increasing accuracy of production forecasts to closely align with predicted sales. Worked on cross-functional project teams to design and maintain a data collection tool to forecast production and sales by market sector. Addressed infrastructures necessary to sustain long-term improvements throughout the organization.

Trend Analysis. Forecast production units and sales for Sales & Operations Planning group. Produce monthly forecasts for Distribution and Non-Focus customers utilizing SAP-APO’s Modeling process. Collaborate with managers from MBU, Finance, and Sales to reach consensus on production forecast. Forecasting & Budgets. Collect historical and current information for Sales & Operations Planning group. Worked and negotiate with internal sales, internal manufacturing, and internal R&D to synthesize objective data into subjective decisions to forecast production units and sales for business planning purposes.
