Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

● Taking active roles, in conjuction with Marine Representatives, in scheduled Marine Audits such as IMSAFE, CMID etc. to identify the areas to be improved. All findings are incorporated to registry and addressed accordingly for following up.

● Regularly check whether Emergency Response Procedures (fire, abandon vessel/evacuate site, medical, spill) are in up to date and are known to personnel at barge/site

● Keep Emergency Response Teams posted on the notice boards and ensure all members are available to perform their duties and participate in regular drills.

● Emergency Response Procedures are in place for:

FRC / MOB, Fire Response, Abandon ship / Muster, Medevac, Spill, Helicopter Crash etc.

● Check availability and condition of HSE equipment and report to Site HSE Supervisor need for calibration.

● Taking an active role in the development and implementation of the permit to work system and provides independent oversight by reviewing selected permits issued by Operations personnel.

● Ensure all applicable legislation and client requirements are identified, communicated and complied with accepted requirements

● Undertake SOC’s, Safety Observations, audits, inspections etc. participate in Safety Meetings, Risk Assessments, Safety Walk/Inspections,

● Communicate relevant HSE issues, legislations and HSE lateral learnings in order to raise awareness, encourage continuous learning and behavioral changes

● Facilitate HSE competence development and learning to ensure staffs are appropriately equipped to work in the specific project teams assigned

● Coaching/Training with construction supervision staff within all processes

● Monitoring that accidents, incidents near misses and unsafe conditions are investigated and reported and corrective actions are promptly taken by the Contractors to prevent reoccurrence in future. Leading or participating in incident investigations, including near misses, property damage, injuries and spills/loss of containment etc.

● Conducting Safety Stand Downs on regular basis / upon requirement / Sharing the practices with Contractors crew

● Lead the site inspection, Permit to Work Audits, Safety Observations and Conversations (SOC), BOSS, Task Observations

● Facilitate Weekly Safety Meetings

● Preparing HSE Training Matrix; preparing training modules, preparing examination for training subjects

● Conduct competency assessment of site personnel

● Develop HSE and Formal policies and procedures. Review and update Standing Instructions

● Assist with the development and conduct of safety training courses

● Conduct regular facility safety inspections of operating plant and equipment as well as new projects/modifications under construction, prior to mechanical acceptance and start up
