Essential duties and responsibilities-:-
A.Transportation Dispatchers coordinate:-
Planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving issues.
Assists with scheduling of workflow for drivers.
Communicates, organizes, assembles and distributes loads and manifests to OTR drivers for loads assigned, ensures seals, quality and correct documents are provided prior to shipment.
Works directly with clients, guaranteeing excellent customer service when responding to customer inquiries.
Gather and maintain route sheet documentation for pick-ups (scheduled, missed, extra pickups, deliveries loads), route completions and driver locations.
Communicates load ETA to Central Control for long-haul outbound.
Repairs error listings in TMW- Transportation Management Software, for billing and payroll, communicates and records communication of corrections to respective departments.
Interacts with our approved service providers in arranging local and regional truck shipments, meeting customer service standards.
Efficiently, enters load information into TMW and sends trips to drivers over People Net.
Understand department process flow, and analysis workflow and mats weekly with supervisor to discuss operational efficiency, productivity and areas of concern
