I am writing to present myself as a candidate for the likely position of experienced, high calibre cardiovascular surgeon within BC Cardiovascular Healthcare organizations. As a caring, compassionate, and experienced candidate with a healthcare career lasting 35 year, I am naturally good at both soft skill examples such as interpersonal skills, communication, collaboration, problem solving but also hard skills as such counselling, marketing skills, case management, and project development. These skills can easily and properly transfer as applicable skills for the Cardiac Surgery field in general, because during my previous roles at various types of healthcare institutions, I regularly cared for thousands of patients. I would highly value the opportunity to work in this capacity for RCH hospitals and believe this my position would be a perfect fit for someone with my unique combination of skills, interests, and professional expertise. My extensive experience in healthcare management, coupled with a strong academic background and relevant leading positions, have equipped me with the critical abilities needed to contribute in the fast-paced environment within Cardiovascular Healthcare. The positions I have served in have provided me with experience that would make me a strong candidate for different positions and capacities with Canada. In my roles as a medical doctor, staff physician, and managing director of hospitals, I successfully provided strong and effective leadership, guidance and direction to team members, while applying efficient and innovative solutions to the complex issues facing research projects and laboratory facilities. In addition, I helped ensure that each function and operational capacity was conducted in a highly professional manner, adhering to corporate standards, industry regulations, and professional ethics. While conducting various hospital and clinical functions, I faced and overcame numerous challenges. My organization and analytical skills, combined with my professional attitude, allowed me to successfully complete any work-related tasks to which I was assigned. During my tenure at each organization, I gained valuable insight into health program coordination, individualized patient care, clinical processes, as well as an extensive range of hospital operations encompassing fundraising and revenue growth, patient needs assessment, and education — in a word, total healthcare quality management. All of these experiences, among many others, afforded me invaluable opportunities to develop and enhance my leadership and collaboration skills. Crucial to my success in these positions has been my ability to succeed in an environment where decision-making, self-motivation, a commitment to integrity, and excellent communication skills are held at a premium. I am certain that my skills, experience and character will enable me to offer as much to any kind of relevant position as it can offer to me. My personal purpose in my wisdom age is to help Canadian citizens with cardiac diseases and international patients as well. I would very much appreciate your positive consideration of me for this exciting career opportunity.
