Sink Maker I Job Duties

Level I Non-Exempt Plant

Manufacture stainless steel sinks using blueprints, BOM (bill of material), and various measuring devices.

Operates stroke sand machine to blend in seam weld to specification.

Set up and operates rim-grinder machine which removes channel lumps from rims of bowls and at stroking table uses stroking block to smooth rough edges from rims of bowls.

Perform set-up and operation of buffing equipment.

Visually inspect bowls for defects, scratches, or projection lumps. Uses air gun to buff top of bowl to remove scratches and burns.

Package finished sink per BOM (bill of material) and blueprint specifications.

Use hand-held scanner to record production.

Other duties and tasks as assigned.
