PROFILE

I am a hard-working, passionate and competent individual, and since I matriculated in 2012, I have gained experience in various roles, both paid and voluntary, and have learnt many skills including data capture, administrative skills, team leadership and using initiative. I am a fluent speaker of isiZulu and English and I am also a qualified PC user. I enjoy working as part of a team and I am also able to work efficiently as an individual. In the past I have led groups of teenagers on various children’s camps, where my duties as a leader included mentoring and organizing logistics for the children under my care. Cubicle Solutions June 2019 - May 2020

I worked at Cubicle Solutions Factory for 11 months. My role was working in the factory making lockers and office desks, I also worked in admin doing data capture. I was promoted to work in the stores department as a store man and carried over my data capture position as well. It was an amazing experience to work in corporate and learn to communicate and lead a team of 4 people. This job ended because of retrenchment due to COVID-19.

Midmar Resort Oct 2017 - May 2019

I worked at the Midmar Resort as a general worker, my duties included cleaning and housekeeping. I worked as part of a team, but also carried individual responsibilities, building on both teamwork skills and the ability to use initiative.

‘SASA’ Gender Based Violence Program June - October 2017 I worked on the SASA team at Ethembeni, raising awareness around gender-based violence through home-visits and group sessions. As a team, we would recruit community members who were affected by GBV or interested in learning more and run sessions with them. This role improved my teamwork skills and communication skills with different people, and also improved my knowledge around genderbased violence and other important issues that affect communities and families. Ethembeni HIV, AIDS & TB Ministry Feb 2013 - June 2017 I volunteered with Ethembeni HIV/AIDS Ministry for 4 years. I have served as an assistant childcare worker, my duties included assisting computer workshops, kitchen duties, leading devotions, organizing sporting events and mentoring children. I also served as an administrative assistant, my duties included data capture, reporting and assisting the managers and director. Wedgewood Nougat 2009

I worked at Wedgewood Nougat factory for 6 months. My role was based on making ribbon packaging for chocolate and sweets. It was a wonderful experience that allowed me to gain skills such as working under pressure and teamwork.
