Job duties included:
Contacting clients, updating their information
Scheduling appointments
Pulling and filing clients information for court
Typing and printing out forms
Contacting and traveling to the courthouse
Contacting the clerks for any information for our clients
Keeping the office clean and in order
After that I worked at Brown Creek Correctional from 2000 to 2016.
First my title was Processing Assistant.
My job description included:
Keeping inmates record up to date and keep the files in order. Pulling and filing outgoing and incoming inmates.
Communicating with the inmates family.
Typing memos and assisting the transfer coordinator.
Second position was a promotion to transfer coordinator.
Job description included:
Confirming inmates place of residence after release
Having inmates sign their release papers
Contacting and coordinating with probation officers, immigration, local enforcement agencies concerning inmates transfer and release
Contact different clerk of courts to arrange and verify inmates court dates and transportation to and from the courthouse via our officers or the other counties transfer.
Keep up to date records in our system
Compile emails and memos concerning inmates transfer and/or release dates and medication, if any, to go with the inmates.
Distribution of memos to the proper authorities.
Worked with the captains, case managers, program director, program supervisor and the administrator over the prison.
