Elk Grove Grocery Outlet Duties Included: Grand Opened store in August of 2007 – Ownership of the Olson Family Inc., hands on management and leadership of total store operations i.e., P&L, hiring/recruiting, training, order writing, advertising and marketing, customer service, community involvement, weekly store sales of $135k, staff size 17. Sold store in November of 2011.

Pleasant Hill Grocery Outlet Duties Included: Took over ownership in November of 2011 – maintained the Olson Family Inc., as the business entity. Hands on management and leadership of total store operations i.e., P&L, hiring/recruiting, training, order writing, advertising and marketing, customer service, community involvement, weekly store sales of $235k, staff size 30. Tribal Gaming Executive Director - Nooksack Indian Tribe – Deming, WA

Duties included: Chief administrator and enforcement official for the Nooksack Tribal Gaming Agency. Responsible for the regulation and security of the gaming operation by implementing and enforcing the Nooksack Tribe’s regulatory duties as defined in the Nooksack Tribe / Washington State Class 111 Gaming Compact, Tribal Gaming Ordinance, Federal Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, and other relevant laws and agreements effecting licensed gambling activities on the Nooksack Indian Reservation. Hire and supervise staff of fourteen gaming agents and surveillance officers to monitor Nooksack River Casino and staff of 250 personnel. Make presentations to Civic and community groups interested in learning about gambling activities on the reservation. Coordinate negotiations and design proposals for the Nooksack Indian Tribe in their dealings with local and legislative bodies concerning gambling on the reservation. Design and implement internal controls and approve all gaming activities conducted at the casino. Design and administer budgets and act as the Treasurer for the Nooksack Gaming Commission.

Tribal Gaming Agent – Nooksack Indian Tribe – Deming, WA

Duties included: Protecting Tribal interests and working in concurrent jurisdiction with the State of Washington on enforcing the negotiated Tribal Gaming Compact; Liaison between Casino Management / Tribal Gaming Agency and Gaming Commission; Public Relations; Background investigations; Licensing of Gaming employees and vendors; Regulation and control of gaming operations including gambling related investigations, gambling surveillance, and reporting responsibilities; Also served as a delegate for the Native American Tribal Gaming Association and a regulatory representative for the Northwest Alliance of Gaming Tribes.
