SUMMARY

I have over 25 years’ experience in classroom as a teacher. I am proud of the work I am doing now and past achievements. My Soft skills include relationship building, compassion, reflective listening skills, and patience. I am great working alone on projects, but I thrive on a team. I appreciate and value the suggestions, opinions, and expertise of my team. My favorite saying is “better together”. I am proud to be a certified Birth and Post-Partum Doula of color, who has partnered with the Black Infant Health Organization in Long Beach. I also volunteer and participate in a variety of community events throughout the year.

The qualities I believe are most important in my career life are the same values I practice in my daily life; honesty, transparency, compassion and accountability. I respect people, value diversity and I am committed to equitable practices in the field of Early Childhood Education. Personal and Professional References
