This must be done within a few days of their arrival in Head Quarters. I then get them to the scanning team to be scanned in. I sometimes help verify that the information put in by the scanning department is correct, once it is in the data base.

Provide 2nd level phase of scan verification of employee records using the Kofax (OnBase) system. Checking data input by scanning team is correct and that the records are in the correct file under the correct name and dates.

Receive, sort, stamp and distribute all incoming Bureau correspondence.

Inventory, run Crystal Reports and distribution across the State of Kansas for all Kansas Department of Transportation employees for years of service. This requires keeping track of how long employee has worked and sending out letters to districts and other administrative assistants with the names and date of anniversary. Gathering information and ordering the gifts needed for each quarter. I then distribute the awards to the correct person to be given out in a timely manner.

Order awards and keep detailed spreadsheet of awards coming in and out for all Department of Transportation state workers.

Order and maintain inventory of all office supplies for the Bureau of Human Resources, Bureau of Support Services and Bureau of Employee Relations.

Maintain copy/ fax machine. Copy, fax and scan documents daily.
