Prototype CNC Set-up Machinist/Operator
Received Vellum CAD Neutral Gibbs CAM prototype set-up program for newly designed Fox shock absorber and/or parts which required proofing a First Article Set-up by running sample; edited the program as needed until correct. Once correct, created set-up sheet to include: list of what tools were needed, how to cut soft jaws, use of hard jaws and placement of part stops. Verified accurate cycle time; inspected output piece for tolerances and accuracy and other appropriate quality control program requirements. Expertise needed to operate a Mori-Seiki CNC mill with Fanuc Controls. (Cause for Leaving Staff reduction due to outsourcing of company's machine work to Taiwan Unemployment - De Anza CNC MasterCam Programming School).
