Tweeter Home Entertainment Group - King of Prussia, PA August 1996 to July 2008

Lead AV installer with Tweeter's Mid-Atlantic custom home installation division from 1997 to 2004, doing custom installations of mid to high end Av systems sold out of their 18 Mid-Atlantic retail stores. Also developed and ran training protocols for new hires to bring them up to Tweeter's industry leading standards for residential custom AV installs.

In 2004 in conjunction with upper management in Boston created an expanded Custom Install Division through out the Company's 100 store system to include the new Field Supervisor, Crew Chief, and Apprentice roles.

As Field Supervisor I covered 4 stores in Philadelphia metro area mentoring their sale force on selling custom residential installation labor dollars for the AV products we carried, then designed and walked down every potential job we bid to ensure clients that our cost estimates were accurate and complete. I assigned my 3 install crews their jobs based on current skill sets and also maintained their career advancement books to promote them to better paying installs as their skills improved. I set up in-house and Vendor trainings at our Plymouth Meeting training center for all the regional crews and maintained Company standards with unscheduled job site visits to ensure crews were following protocols.

I would also make follow up visits to completed jobs to review operations with the client and make sure they were happy with our work for fit and finish.
