*Brief Qualification Summary*

I am proficient in the repair, overhaul, and maintenance of the following pieces of equipment: vertical turbine pumps, split case, AOD diaphragm, and centrifugal pumps such as Gorman Rupp, Viking, Peerless, and Roper pumps, containing packing or mechanical seals. Neptune meters registers reading in pounds and gallons, chain driven and hydraulic conveyers, overhead cranes, high pressure air compressors, ventilation systems, sand blasting units, reduction gear boxes, pipe benders, hydraulic presses, lathes, boring mills, and various hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

I am a qualified steel and pipe fabricator with 6G certification in welding {Mig, Tig, Stick, and Soldering} of various types of steel and pipe {including Carbon Steel, Stainless, Aluminum, Brass, Copper, Nickel, Cast Iron, and Chrome Alloy Metals}. I know the proper and safe usage of Oxygen Acetylene torches, Air-Arc, and Plasma cutting machines also know how to weld pipe using the (Walking the Cup) procedure. I can read blueprints both {Standard & Metric} and use precision instruments such as digital and dial indicators and calipers.

I am certified to work in confined spaces with the training of the exposures to nuclear radiation, Lead, benzene, asbestos, and many forms of acids. I have also had the proper training of safety harness and respirators and fresh air masks. Other trainings include a permanent certification card with OSHA {Occupation Safety Health Administration} in Construction Safety and Health.

Trained in Quality Control for checking proper dimensions in machine shop formed materials and checking welds using weld gauges and dye penetrates and developers.

I can repair and use many woodworking and machine shop tools such as lathes, table saws, band saws, brakes, shears, ironworker, mills, and drill presses.

Basic electrical knowledge and experience includes service disconnects and reconnection of single phase and 3 phase equipment using Electro-multimeter {AC/DC} with the proper lockout tag-out procedures. I have knowledge of electrical ladder and stigmatic diagrams for motor controls.

Also, I have knowledge in working on refrigerated equipment such as Ice machines, Refrigerators, Swamp coolers and HVAC units.

Also, I have been trained and familiar ISO company standards and in 5S policies.

Also doing repairs on the air compressors and boilers as need such as changing steam traps and replacing weld piping and screw piping as needed. I was also responsible in daily checks and logging documentation reports on the air compressors such as draining water from compressors checking blowoff lines and checking that the compressor is producing the right PSI (pounds per square inch). The daily checks of the boilers consisted checking of pipes and drains and logging down the temps on the gauges. The boilers would be shutdown down and cleaned and rodded on regular PM (preventive maintenance) schedule along with the air compressors. The compressors would have the oil drained with sample sent to be analyzed for proper oil use. The filters would be changed and electrical checked such a relays and contactors are working properly. Once this is done the compressor is restarted and checked for any new software updates.
