To whom it may concern
I am interested in applying for the Pharmacist Intern Role/Rotation at your company. In addition to completing an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in 2017, I am also a 3rd year Pharmacy Student. As an undergraduate I served as a tutor and volunteer in an after-school program at a local homeless shelter, where I helped students complete homework assignments and broaden their understanding by connecting to the world outside their community. As an undergraduate student, I conducted different types of research on the ecosystem and the food chain of wildlife in the ecosystem surrounding North Georgia. I have also worked as a pharmacy technician/clinical authorization specialist at CVS helping patients get their medications approved based on clinical guidelines. I also helped patient look at medications and helped direct them to the resources they need to help get better drug treatment plans. I also worked as a pharmacist intern at Medwise Rx. I did medication therapy management with patients and made sure to document notes on medications and allergies and advised/counseled patients on their various conditions. I believe that an industry rotation at your site would give me the skills I need to become a well-rounded pharmacist. I have always been enthusiastic about drug trials and how different drug get approved onto the market for different disease states. Another area of interest of mine is pharmacovigilance. I am very interested in drug safety which I believe has become rampant in society at large. I love working with data and I enjoy case management because it keeps engaged. I believe Pharmacists have a unique opportunity to help each patient achieve better health care goals. I am passionate about pharmacy and helping my patients achieve better healthcare goal and forging relationships with them that help build a sense of confidence and enable them to get the most effective treatment for their conditions. I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you to discuss how my skills and experience can meet the needs of your pharmacy practice and its patients. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Chukwuebuka Osele
