Veronica Krus is an experienced maths teacher. She has over 16 years of experience in both South African and International schools and has taught to the UK and South African Curriculums. Veronica has experience teaching in the UAE, Qatar and South Africa. Her previous position was at a British curriculum school in Doha which had a high proportion of ESL students. During her time at the international school in Dubai and Qatar, she gained experience teaching A level learners. Veronica was awarded the Head of Department for mathematics for the stint 2015-2018 and again as Deputy Head of Department for the Academic Year 2021/2022 along with the Head of 6th Form responsibility. Veronica has a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Environmental Health, a Higher Diploma of Education in Post School Education. Prior to qualifying she spent a year lecturing students in South Africa. WES has accredited her qualifications till 2026. Veronica describes her teaching style in the following way: “I am a confident and enthusiastic teacher who genuinely enjoys inspiring my students to be risk takers and to become the best that they can be. During the facilitation of their learning, I promote critical thinking and enable students to see themselves as unique. The words ‘I can’t’ do not exist in my vocabulary.” In training experience:
