Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by technical teams, projects or departments in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.

Responsible and coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.

Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.

Makes sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable.

RGX-6/7 & AKG-2 Project (Ras Laffan Natural Gas liquefaction company limited Doha-Qatar). The scope of works involves Engineering procurement & construction (EPC) plus commissioning of Train-6/7 & AKG-2 plant.

The objective is to develop an integrated project produce, export and market LNG derived from the Qatar North field. The RGX 2 Project includes staged construction of 2 LNG production trains (6&7). The expansion is planned to meet market demand, with Train 7 expected to be required about one year after Train 7 expected to be required about one year Train 6. The works include general civil, steel erection, equipment, piping, electrical, instrumentation, painting, insulation and fireproofing for the process area, heavy lift equipment, EPC buildings and cooling waterlines for all area.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible in maintaining and updating Engineering documents / drawings by category, discipline and code. Ensuring valid and up to date copies of all necessary documents will be distributed to project stall concerned.

Receives, catalogues and stores hard copies and electronic copies of all technical drawings, reports and related information in an orderly manner, in line with policies and procedures.

Allocates and controls the document numbering system for the project work.

Controls issuance of document numbers, including maintenance of proper document registers for detail engineering or construction engineering project.

Maintains specifically assigned project database/s.

Support all required EH&S postings, warnings and signs applicable to the required project.
