Worked as a patient accounts representative answering several different billing questions for the hospitals by patients. Worked in the hospital’s EPIC system to find answers to each question the patient had. Also called patients to see if they were going to pay their bills and assisted patients with understanding their statements. Sent client requests for billing and coding issues. Followed HIPPA regulations to keep everything confidential.

St. Anthony’s Central Hospital

Worked on the rehabilitation floor at the hospital with occupational therapy and speech therapy. Saw each patient twice a day for 1 hours each. The physical therapist would write the initial evaluation and we would go by the therapist’s goals for the patient. Performed therapeutic exercises, updated goals, wrote discharge summaries for each patient. Attended patient care conferences with all the disciplines attending. Performed car transfers, ambulating in the parallel bars or in the halls with different assistive devices. Wrote out home exercise programs for patients.

Worked in the garden center during peak season. Duties included watering plants, customer service, writing off dead plants, and moving plants according to the planogram. I then became a cashier working in the lumbar department, garden department, customer service up front, and the return desk.
