Dear Sir/Madam,
Below is my work experience and much of it is working in the libraries, which I’ve done for
much of my life.
1975 -1980 Bracebridge Public Library, located in Bracebridge, Muskoka Ontario.
Worked on intake and outgoing books. Stamping, filing, and reshelving.
Assisted Ms. Scott the librarian, and helped her in a variety of different areas.
I worked there while I was in school, both after and on Saturdays.
I became familiar with all of the workings of the library, and many of the pieces of Audio/Video
equipment that we lent out for presentations and assisting people search for what they needed.
1980- 1985 worked in my high school library assisting Mr. Gerry Murphy, the high school
librarian.
1985- Present day doing research for myself and others in writing on my own, as a freelance
writer, and doing multi media presentations. I write for trade publications and for many of the
news papers and magazines, including doing the photography necessary to accompany feature
articles that I’ve done for Magazines such as Toronto Life, and many others.
I use many of the libraries both in Burnaby and the Central Library in Vancouver.
I look forward to reentering full time imployment in the library once again.
I am also available on call, to fill in for any staff that needs to take time off.
I’ve worked stocking shelves in a number of different areas, and have had seven of my own
businesses. Two in Photography and five in Hairstyling.
1 am familiar with many of the writing programs and type about one hundred words per
minute.
I’ve attended two colleges in Ontario. George Brown and Humber, where I studied public
relations, communications, and English Literature.
I have managerial skills, that range from hiring and training staff and management, to
branding and marketing products and services.
I look forward to speaking with a person from the human resources department in regard to
setting up an interview to discuss how I may be of benifit to your library and work with your
staff.
I am a Canadian Citizen and I am bondable, dependable, and punctual.
Many thanks,
Fredrick Fowler. ! ch Zuber ;
