Server

I have been working here since the early summer and have performed a mix of duties from serving and coursing the a la carte service to working the private events in a catering service fashion. The style of service is customized to each guest from elegant weddings, to private film screening wrap parties with A-list celebrities. We set up, tear down serve and memorize specials for every event as well as for daily operational service. The menu and drink list is ever changing and it keeps my already polished service in line. I was part of the opening team for The Boathouse, where I thrived dealing with a high volume of guest traffic. I also liked to use my cultural skills to aid guests in Disney’s multi-cultural environment and provide overall great guest experience. I learned new food and drink items daily and presenting them in the best possible way is a specialty of mine. I love to contribute to the overall success of the restaurant. I used my knowledge of cocktails and Italian food to better enhance the guest experience all while helping the company progress into a thriving establishment. My communication skills with guests from other countries expanded greatly while working here, as most of the clientele spoke Portuguese or Spanish, with little English. I was able to communicate stress-free while delivering great guest service.
