Experience

Freeport McMoran – Health and Safety Technician II 01/19 – 10/22

Member of full time emergency response team at the Sierrita Mine. Conduct safety walks throughout all departments. Perform audits and make suggestions on relevant safety issues that are discovered. Train volunteer rescue team members on a variety of topics such as rope rescue, hazmat response, and medical response. Work in tandem with safety specialists and other full time rescue team members to accomplish specific safety goals across the site.

Freeport McMoran – Security Officer/ EMT 04/15 – 01/19

Provided EMS and security for the Sierrita Mine. Responded to medical and trauma calls as needed, and attended emergency response trainings on a consistent basis. Conducted patrols for security, handled inbound and outbound truck shipments at the scale, and monitored radio transmissions and camera feeds to send resources when necessary to any incidents that may arise.

Carondelet Health Network- Registration Representative 10/12- 09/13

Registered incoming patients to the Emergency Department and other areas of the hospital when needed. Handled delicate information such as past medical information and payment information. Worked within the hospital’s programs to make sure each patient received the proper treatment.

Guardsmark- Site supervisor/ EMT 12/11 – 10/12 as well as 03/13 - -04/15

Worked as an EMT/Security Officer at Apache Nitrogen Products Inc. Provided security for the company which included monitoring cameras, making rounds of the premises, and assisting with other tasks that the company felt necessary. Provided emergency medical care as needed, and maintained relationship with base hospital manager so that our staff could provide the care needed as an EMT. Was hired back as site supervisor in 03/13.

Andrews International Security- Security/EMT 09/10 - 11/11

Started part time as an EMT/Security Officer at Apache Nitrogen Products Inc., and was promoted to full time in 11/10. Logged incoming and outbound trucks, and provided the necessary Bill of Ladings for travel. Provided security for the company which included monitoring cameras, making rounds of the premises, and assisting with other tasks that the company felt necessary. Provided emergency medical care as needed, and maintained relationship with base hospital manager so that our staff could provide the care needed as an EMT. When company lost contract, Guardsmark hired me to stay on in same capacity at the site.
