My background is mostly in human resources management and customer service. I have extensive experience in both as well as in business administration. I have a passion for working with senior citizens and our most vulnerable folks amongst us. I had a business that focused on what was in part, assessing and addressing the needs of home-bound folks with disabilities or seniors with social services. Sold the business and have recently been more in the Medical call center customer service field.
I've been trained on SharePoint, One Note, Salesforce, KMT, Maxphone, Availity, Outlook calendar, Privacy Tool, Square app, navigating three screens and a head set. Microsoft teams and hundreds of hours doing mock calls, worksheets and classes on Empathy vs sympathy, diversity and inclusion, active listening and HIPPA and how to properly use PHI for patients and providers. We briefly trained on coding, credentialing and channeling.
I bring almost 20 years of human resources experience. From recruiting, screening, the on/ out boarding process in its entirety, training, safety preparedness along with Covid protocol. As a recruiter or in any division of human resources management, I have a plethora of experience in the following but not limited to:
Conducted background checks using WATCH and Washington Courts along with other sources to vet potential candidates. Scheduling for drug screening, vaccinations, and drug tests. Verifying referrals and past relevant information, labor and industries-related issues, including internal investigations. I've managed conflict resolution between employees and was integral in procuring ongoing classes and seminars to coach on how to deter harassment and triangulation. I've had to deal with terminations and the disciplinary process.
