Initially as HSE Officer and took over as Contract HSE Manager in 1996. Responsibilities included the management of health, safety and environment activities on the contract. Work included fabricating and laying of new flowlines, improvement to existing flowlines, mechanical, electrical, instrument and civil works in gathering stations and production stations, facility upgrading works in the regional and main tank farms. Throughout foregoing period was responsible for preparation of HSE plans, procedures and related documentation for all activities. In addition, assisted Corporate HSE Manager in documentation for new contracts. Total manpower on the contract was 730 based at 5 locations and supervised by 6 safety officers.

Pipeline Maintenance Contract, Petoleum Development Oman. Responsibilities included supervising safety on all activities on the contract which included pigging of interstation and main oil and gas lines, Cosasco corrosion monitoring, Chemical injection, Cathodic protection monitoring and maintenance of block valve stations and launcher receivers.

Weekly and monthly safety meetings, producing daily tool box talk material for supervisors, routine inspection of worksites, camp, vehicles, equipment, maintenance of safety equipment, conducting emergency drills, inhouse safety training and audits, both internal and with PDO.

Contract included transporting of all material from Jubail berry and Dhahran. During the last seven months of the project held additional responsibility as Transport manager controlling a fleet of 15 tractor-trailers, 55 buses transporting men, and 28 cranes of various capacities.

Responsibilities
