Developed and manufactured switch gear and molded ASE CIRCUIT BREAKER FOR THE United States Navy within their nuclear submarine and Aircraft Carrier divisions.
The Cell manufacturing modules consisted of 35 UAW Unionized people doing all aspect of circuit breaker assembly and maintenance.
This included bench assembly, pneumatic bench assembly, hydraulic press, crane, welding (class 6), painting, testing and troubleshooting of all associated breakers and switch gear assembly's.
Also worked with VFD conveying systems, PLC SLC 500 series, I/O field devices and all ladder logic troubleshooting.
SPD is an ISO 9002 certified facility and strongly preaches quality above anything else.
Some additional duties included personal training, parts expediting, scheduling of people and production flow and throughput, and all associated employee vacations, sick time, days off and payroll issues, also handled all 1st step grievances with Union representatives.
