OBJECTIVE

To obtain a position in construction management, using my vast knowledge of production management, sound barrier installation/fabrication/construction, concrete fabrication, drilling tie backs, caisson, rock drilling, and heavy equipment operations. Some of the precast projects that I led involved production and installation of products, shipping of products, meeting with customers and final walkthroughs on jobsites. 395/I66 Inside the Beltway Improvement Projects

Manage Sound Wall production crews on a daily basis. Duties include but not limited to the following: Morning Safety meeting, JHA/SPA’S, Daily Production report and hour sheet, compile two-week look ahead for on-site production along with equipment needs. Perform pre-con site visits to check for access, utilities and areas that may need RFIs in advance so we can reduce production time and costs that may arise. Provide crew training where needed for all aspects of sound wall installs, ground mount installs and erosion controls for a jobsite.

2016 – 2018 Terra Site Constructors, Project Superintendent, Managed several high-profile jobs:

Aberdeen Maryland job for Allen Myers, four phase job. Phase One: drill, set and pour first stage of caisson with a rebar cage. We needed to use casings on each shaft due to pour soil conditions.

Phase Two: set concrete post in remainder of rebar cage and pour out with concrete. Phase Three: between posts we installed gabion stone baskets in each bay. Phase four: set panels in bays.

I66 improvements for Fort Myer Construction, retaining wall job. This job included three separate walls along Rt 66 inside the beltway. Drilled, set, and poured out all steel posts, produced our own concrete retaining panels, and trained crew members in all phases of production for this job.

Brambleton Power Station Project, Dominion Power, security wall. Installed concrete posts and concrete wall panels. Used 2 drill rigs to drill caissons. 1st drill rig; drilled down to the rock bed, determined by rotation torque, time limit, and depth. 2nd drill rig; percussion rig, drilled rock socket to determine depth.

Managed multiple projects simultaneously. Performed jobsite duties such as: production reports, safety reports, QC/QA reports, dailies, three-week look ahead, acquired all jobsite materials and equipment for jobsites.

2014-2016 Lane, Project Foreman – I95 Project

Managed Sound Wall production crews on a daily basis. Duties included but not limited to the following: Morning Safety meeting, JHA/SPA’S, Daily Production report and hour sheet, compiled two week look ahead for on-site production along with equipment needs. 2012-2014 Midasco, Project Foreman – Hot Lanes Project Managed daily operations of production crews on the installations of underground utilities conduit, ground mount signs, and overhead sign structures.

2009-2012 Geo Constructors, Project Foreman- Hot Lanes Project Managed daily operations of production crews on installation of sound walls, retaining walls and MSE walls. Duties included: morning crew meetings to go over the Safe Plan of Action, daily alcohol testing for crew, scheduling production materials, placement of products per specs (wall lines, post, panels), record and produce daily reports on production, crew hours, equipment hours and material used, update blueprints, daily communications with QC dept., communications with General Contractor, maintain a safe work environment, maintain DEQ requirements on all jobsites. Walk the jobsites with inspectors and project managers.

2009-2009 Skyline Equipment Corporation, Project Foreman Managed jobsite operations for concrete precast building erecting. Duties included; morning crew meetings to go over the Safe Plan of Action for the day, production scheduling on a two week look ahead basis, record and produce daily reports, update jobsite blueprints, record crew time sheets, managed crew of 18 workers, scheduled deliveries of material, placement of products, ensure all connections are stable, walk jobsites with building inspectors, maintain a safe environment for work to take place. 2006–2009 DuBrook Concrete, Maintenance Manager

Managed daily operations of Ready Mixed Concrete Plant, ensured stability and proper functioning of equipment: conveyor belt systems, computerized weigh hoppers, certified truck scales. Responsible for DEQ requirements: wastewater treatment, site water treatment. Managed a crew of 8 workers. Attended daily meetings on production, budget and safety.

Products fabricated: Precast Sound Walls, Planters, Bridge Beams, and Concrete Posts Managed a crew of 38. Oversaw all inside operations of the company. Provided work materials, tools, fuel, etc for day to day operations. Authorized purchase orders and overtime/time off for employees. Schedule production, ensure production quotas are met. PM duties included jobsite visits, working directly with customer, tentative and cpm schedules, assisting customer with product install and final walkthrough inspection. Confirmed layout of jobs, installed rebar cages, anchor bolts and/or steel posts into caisson. Set to job specs. Poured concrete into caissons to job specs. Installed sound wall panels to job specs. Backfilled if necessary. Supervised crews from 2-20. Drilled over 1,000 caissons to depths ranging from 4” to 32’ and widths ranging from 6” to 48” in diameter.
